My son convinced me that I needed to write a bio of Mary's Treasures. How Mary's Treasures started, and up to the present I have had so many favorable comments on it bout it being down home, and many asked me to not have the corrections made with the grammar, which to me is something I just can not seem to grasp. They said if I did, it would loose the country, folksy flavor it has.

Back in 1978 when we left a "Church", we were determined we were not going to fall away from being our Fathers children. A lot of times I would sit up late at night at the kitchen table, the windows open, and listening to the sounds of the night, and enjoying the feeling of the night air. I would read the scriptures and get so excited over what I was reading. It was great, grand and at times I got very excited over it. I wrote down where the verse were, and underlined them, and as time went on I went back and added notes to the pages. It was wonderul, and I was meeting me through the word like I had never know me before. My husband and son begged me to put in on a web page I had for six months, but very little on it.

Soon the stories started pouring out. Remembrances of childhood, family time, time with our son, and in all of them there was a tread of the wonders of our Father, and His love for us. We had gotten magazines from many different places, and I kept fussing about how I wanted something to bless me, and talk to me about my every day life. The Holy Spirit kept saying, "Write your own." and share them with others. I found so many treasures in the Bible I had never been told about before, and because I was looking for a Church to teach me, I missed seeing them.

When I got on the internet and some E-mail list I started sharing my stories with the people. Some called them Mary's Words of Wisdom, some Mary's Treasures. I saw that people liked what was written, and I was asked for permission to print them in their magazines. I mean here was ministers asking me to let them use them! Family then really insisted that I make a page.

I do want to say, that in the last months the articles have changed to be more deeper in thought than the earlier articles. I can not take credit for any of the articles, as I can see the Heavenly Fathers Spirit moving, and leading me in what is written.

I would love to have all of the Mary's Treasures made into a book, but I have no idea how to go about getting one published, or getting it ready to be published.
